Good Samaritan struck by tour bus
A Good Samaritan, who has not been identified by name, witnessed a truck have a blowout and strike a center divider on I-10 West on Tuesday, May 19th. The 50-year-old man pulled over to the shoulder of the road to check on the driver of the truck. As he was waving to the driver to find out if she was alright, he was struck by a tour bus that swerved onto the shoulder.
The impact caused the Good Samaritan to be thrown backwards and collide with his own vehicle. He was taken to Thomas Hospital; the extent of his injuries are currently unknown. No other injuries have been reported.
