Grandview officer hurt in car wreck

A Grandview police officer was seriously injured this week in a wreck in the 3800 block of County Road 405, northwest of Grandview.  The officer lost control of his car on a 90-degree turn while responding to a disturbance involving a man and two women.  Investigators say that his car slid off of the roadway and struck a tree at a high rate of speed.  The officer was taken by helicopter to Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital in Fort Worth, where he is in critical condition.
