Austin Man Killed in Occupational Hazard

An Austin repairman was killed while working on a pistachio auger earlier this month. Tragically, while the 30-year-old was making repairs, someone in the pistachio plant turned on the equipment used to shred pistachios seeds from their shell and grind pistachios. Unable to escape from the underground apparatus, the repairman was killed.

Occupational fatalities are all-too-common and always unfortunate. Thankfully, Texas lawmakers have created a legal mechanism – a wrongful death lawsuit – that allows survivors to find justice for themselves and their loved one. If you’ve lost a loved one in an occupational accident, talk to the personal injury experts at Fears | Nachawati. Call at 1.866.705.7584 or send an email to info@fnlawfirm.com. Let us help you!
