Arlington Driver Suffers Wrongful Death
Early yesterday morning an Arlington driver had car trouble. The driver, Kolawole Grando, made the mistake of coming to a stop in an eastbound lane of I-20. Tragically, it was one of the last mistakes Mr. Grando would make.
Shortly after coming to stop, a pickup truck slammed into the back of Grando’s car, collapsing the entire back half of the car and causing Grando’s immediate death. The death of Mr. Grando may have been accident, but it wasn’t necessary a fluke. Hundreds of stranded drivers are injured every year in Texas as a result of fellow drivers who drive too fast, too recklessly, too tired, or too drunk.
