According to the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety, more than 500,000 large commercial vehicles and 18-wheelers were involved in traffic accidents in 2010. These accidents accounted for more than 100,000 injuries and over 5,000 deaths. Below is a photograph of the scene of the accident, courtesy of WFAA.com:
Although the investigation has not identified who is ultimately responsible for this major accident, it would certainly be wise for all involved to consult with an attorney. It would be in the best interest of Davis’s family (assuming he is not found to be the responsible party for the collision), as well as all other non-responsible parties, to seek legal representation to ensure that they are adequately compensated for their injuries, damage to personal property, and emotional distress.
