Legal Commentary

While tragic, fatal car accidents happen quite often. In this particular situation, the family of the deceased victim could potentially pursue a wrongful death civil claim against the driver responsible for their family member’s death.
From a civil standpoint, our firm has represented our firm has represented numerous families who have been directly affected by fatal automobile accidents. The family of the deceased victim should most certainly consult with an experienced wrongful death attorney to file a wrongful death claim against the negligent driver who caused this accident. While no amount of compensation will revive the victim, a civil claim settlement will provide the victim’s family with the financial support needed to cover medical and final expenses; enabling them to focus on grieving the loss of their family member, and not the financial burden that typically accompanies the unexpected death of a loved one.
