53-year-old Texas man killed in hit-and-run accident, suspect arrested
The victim was Earl William Peddicord. Peddicord suffered severe head injuries. He died at a local hospital a few hours later. Witnesses to the accident say that the driver struck Peddicord while Peddicord was crossing the street. The driver then fled from the scene. Police have located and arrested a suspect whose name has not been released. However, police have revealed that the suspect is a 26-year-old male.
