Good Samaritans Brian Jennings, Hollie Boyles, and Shelby Boyles Killed By Driver Ethan Couch in Tragic Burleson Accident

Over the Father’s Day weekend, a tragic car accident occurred that left four victims dead in Burleson. The accident occurred when a pickup truck filled with eight teenagers sped through Burleson-Retta Road and struck a car on the side of the road. Three people had stopped to help the stranded motorist when the pickup hit the car, resulting in the death of all four people. Among those victims were Hollie and Shelby Boyles, a mother and daughter who had come out of their nearby home to help, and Brian Jennings, a popular youth pastor at Alsbury Baptist Church. He had been driving from his eldest son’s graduation party that night. Evidence at the scene of the crash reveals that alcohol was a factor in the accident, as well as careless driving on the part of Ethan Couch, the 16 year-old driver of the pickup truck. Our thoughts go out the victims’ families in this tragic situation.
